Eye-hand coordination, motor skills and dexterity can be promoted with a slingshot. IMPORTANT: This is about hitting, not shooting. In the therapeutic field (and sometimes also at work) the sling can be used to reduce strong emotions and to relax.

Usage Tips: Right-handed people hold the slingshot in their left hand, left-handed people in their right. Adults grasp the handle and place their thumb over the fork of the felt ball slingshot - then place the felt balls in the piece of leather and pinch them with thumb and forefinger (sequence of actions that is valuable in occupational therapy). Don't aim over the sights and grains. Aiming and shooting is done instinctively by feel!
