Wooden Marble Run for Toddlers "JUNIOR MIDI" 21 Pieces | xyloba® Junior
Product description:
The Xyloba Junior MIDI marble run with 21 pieces combines creative construction, exciting movement and fascinating sounds for a unique play experience. Children build their own marble run, try out different routes and immediately discover how their construction affects the marble’s path and the sounds it makes.
Whether it’s a simple route or a design that’s changed again and again, there are almost no limits to the imagination. As they build, experiment and make changes, children playfully discover early cause-and-effect relationships and develop their own solutions. If something doesn’t work, they can simply rebuild it and try again.
Along the way, important skills are developed almost without notice: fine motor skills, concentration, spatial thinking, creativity, logical thinking and perseverance. The open-ended nature of the play is especially valuable: there isn’t just one correct design, but countless ways for the marble to find its path.
Where building meets music: What makes Xyloba special is the combination of a marble run and sound. The rolling marble sets musical elements ringing, making music, rhythm and movement immediately tangible. Building a marble run becomes a little musical experiment.
For home and educational settings: The Xyloba Junior MIDI is ideal for children’s rooms, nurseries, daycare centers, kindergartens and schools. At home, it encourages independent play and building together with siblings or parents. In educational settings, it can be used for free play or guided activities focused on construction, perception, music and problem-solving.
Building together also offers valuable experiences: children share ideas, develop solutions together and see how individual building blocks gradually come together to form a working marble run.
However you choose to assemble the wooden blocks, you determine the melody, beat and rhythm, while the different pitches create the melody. Thanks to the modular, sturdy interlocking system, the track stays in place and provides fun and musical experiences even when built robustly. Unique melodies emerge as soon as the marble starts rolling and hits the corresponding sound plate.
With this musical marble run, children aged 12 months and older can playfully discover notes, beats and rhythm, with adult supervision. The concept is simple: there are building blocks, sound blocks and other pieces, each with different tones. The tracks vary in length, allowing whole, half and quarter notes to be created and helping children learn how long a note lasts. In this way, the marble run makes music visible.
A marble run fascinates every child and many adults, too. It lets everyone get creative and offers great educational value: you can combine pieces, listen and feel. Building the Xyloba marble run develops spatial thinking, cognitive, musical and logical skills, as well as motor coordination, without causing frustration, since nothing can shift or fall down. This marble run is wonderfully simple, yet its modular design makes it a new experience every time.
