The Montessori abacus from Romanswerk is made in Austria from solid oak and is a high-quality companion for inquisitive children as soon as they start counting. The learning board, loosely based on Montessori, accompanies children in learning basic arithmetic well into school. The numbers from 1 to 100 are milled into the bottom of the openings, and the 100 felt balls supplied can be used to count and calculate - similar to the abacus, but not nearly as limited.
The oak wood of the abacus is largely untreated and has only been oiled. The concept of the very high-quality learning board is inspired by Montessori pedagogy and supports children from the age of 3 in their development through the various possible applications. Children can train their fine motor skills by using the tweezer grip, learn colors and counting while sorting the colorful felt balls and promote their mathematical skills up to primary school age.
Ideal for kindergartens, day care centers or your home, the sorting board can be combined with all kinds of natural and children's room materials.
