Highway | 24-piece street set from Waytoplay Toys

Product description:

Your children love playing with cars, but you really don't like the look of a car play mat? Then the "Highway" set from Waytoplay is just right for you. This play road set for standard toy cars is a wonderful gift for little car enthusiasts and offers countless play and combination possibilities with toys you already own. The set contains a total of 24 road pieces made of durable PVC/rubber (all of which can be combined with the other Waytoplay sets) that can be played with both indoors and outdoors.

Included in the "Highway" set:

• 3 x Straight "standard"
• 3 x Straight "zebra crossing"
• 2 x Straight "parking bays"
• 12 x Curve
• 2 x Intersection
• 2 x Roundabout

The road pieces can be connected to one another in any configuration, like puzzle pieces. All Waytoplay road pieces are double-sided, giving children countless combination possibilities for building their play world.

From what age do we recommend Waytoplay, and what does playing with it encourage?

Following certification by official testing laboratories, Waytoplay play roads are suitable for children aged 3 and over. From our experience with our own children and based on feedback from other customers, we have found that younger children's motor skills are not yet developed to the extent that they can combine the road pieces independently and "without frustration". We therefore recommend accompanying children aged 3-4 while they play and build with the Waytoplay roads, in order to avoid initial frustration and turn the perfectly normal, age-appropriate moments of frustration into positive experiences of success. This allows the full potential of this valuable play concept to unfold: children begin independently laying out roads for play worlds that spring from their imagination (creativity and imagination), while combining the pieces in a wide variety of ways (motor skills and patience).

Is your child younger than 3 and are you looking for a play road alternative to Waytoplay? Take a look at our play road collection - there you will also find play roads made of felt and wooden alternatives.

Care instructions:

Washable? Yes! Waytoplay play roads are made of durable PVC/rubber, which makes them particularly suitable for educational institutions with special hygiene requirements - because they are washable! Simply wash them under clean water with a brush or sponge and wipe them dry. Please do not put them in the dishwasher.

Proper storage: Make sure to store the roads stacked on top of one another, as they are made of flexible rubber. What is otherwise a major advantage of the product can unfortunately also briefly cause frustration for your children if the rubber pieces are put away carelessly, become bent at the puzzle edges, and then stand up when assembled. If this does happen, simply stack the pieces neatly on top of one another again, and after a little while everything will fit properly again.

WARNING: Small parts, choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years.
